Has anyone worked out how to setup 02 simulators yet?

Default Has anyone worked out how to setup 02 simulators yet?

What would it take to get the voltage/signal correct so we could run test pipes without setting off the CEL? If someone points me in the right direction or knows this info, then I'l make up a prototype set and start testing them ASAP.

Default Very similar to my Question above . I dont want cel lights on my dash.

So I am wondering if placing the second set of 02 sensors further downstream will have any benefit?

Default Ds O2 voltages start like the front O2 sensors, but once the cats light up....

they go above 450 mv and stay there. The exhaust has no oxygen at this point cause the cats are reburning it all. The number seems to hover around 600 mv and go above and below by 200 mv peak to peak. Whatever circuit you put in can't have a series resistance higher than 500 ohms or the Ecu will think the sensors are **** up. The ecu corrects the mixture somewhat based on the ds o2's. Look through the vagcom measuring blocks in the forties for the correction values. The value is in Milliseconds. You want it to hover around zero correction.

It's a tough one; Can you tell I tried?!
I'm running cats now.
Gave Up and got some 2 1/2" i.d. converters.
I don't notice a difference in speed; it's just nicely quieter.
Post it or e-mail me if you figure it out.

A 10 megaohm resistor in line on one of the signal wires should do it.

No. 10 Mohm in series makes resistance of sensor too high.
