RS4 fuel pump. Pics of replacing unused branch hose
Here's the RS4 pump showing the infamous Y-fitting and extra unused plastic hose. I had a bolt installed to plug the un-used hose. Please forgive the messy bench..

It's tough to see, but I used the longer un-used plastic branch hose to replace the Y fitting and shorter hose.

your post is why I jumped on it today. thanks
I'm having some problems that sound similar to what you had. I'm not sure this is my problem but it really needed to be fixed regardless.
thanks

Cheers, and ygm.
Give me a call if you want to talk more. I don't claim to be a pro at this, but I DID learn a LOT getting my car fixed.
I'm totally slammed between work and the airbox project, but want to hear what your problems are and what you've checked so far.
