S4 Clutch Nightmare

S4 Clutch Nightmare
I am looking for some good opinions so all the info I give is accurate. I have a 2000 S4, no modifications at all. First clutch went at 25000 kms. Started out that RPM indicator would go up,KMS would not. 1st,2nd, Rev gear grinding, loss of power on hills. Clutch was replaced as a "customer appreciation" after big hassle. Shortly after I got car back the clutch stuck about 3/4 of the way out and smoked. The burn smell was in the car for weeks. This clutch lasted about 2000 km and was totally fried. Car had to be towed. They would not replace under warranty and car sat for about 6 months at dealer. Through legal agreement I got car back with third clutch. About 3000 km into clutch it stuck again.I had to disengage pedal with my foot. Tons of smoke and burn smell. Took it in and explained it to service manager. They replaced slave and master cylinder under warranty. Clutch seems okay now but still get gear grinds in 1 and 2 and grinds in 3 and 4 at higher revs. I have never abused car, always driven a manual (20 years ) and previous car was a BMW 318is standard. I am only driver. I am currently involved in CMVAP hearing over this car. My question is why did they not replace master and slave cylinder first time? It is my understanding that they will not replace under warranty because they claim abuse which sounds like the standard claim when its warranty coverage time? Has anyone else run in to this problem or had any sucess in dealing with it.Please remember that I live in Canada.

Re: S4 Clutch Nightmare
Had my CAMVAP hearing last week.Audi sent a baracuda type character to rep them.If you listen to AUDI there is no way it could be there clutch and it must be the way I drive (she stated this point about 75 times)After the hearing, the AUDI rep took my S4 for a drive and gave the gears a good grind on the way back to park it.The lack of knowledge by the hearing people makes me not to hopeful at the outcome.
