Default Tiptronic to 6 Spd conversion????????????????????

Anyone swapped a tip tranny for a 6 spd on their S4 before if so tell me what I need besides the tranny itself? By the way the tranny is $2500.

Default You'll have to research some, but I'm pretty sure the axles are different.

Front 1/2 shafts, and the center drive shaft. Plus, you'll need to make sure your rear dif has 4.11:1 gears, or you'll toast your center dif.

You'll also have the secondary air on your engine that still needs to be in place, but is no longer necessary. You could remove the pump & lines, but the heads have the holes in them, you could plug them with a plate or something. And the ECU will still be looking for it.

Always easier to sell, & buy what you want.

Yeah, and he spent like 2x what selling the car and buying another 6-speed would've cost.

Try 1-800-All-Audi, they might have used parts to make it cost effective.

Default I wish....I would do it if it's under $5k...seriously...let's look into it.

Email me if I can help...might be more hassle than it's worth...I am trying to sell my 02 Tip, it is in immaculate condition 27k miles and I am willing to let it go for $29k. That's 4.5k less than I bought it for 5k miles ago and 6 months.

Want to find another in mint with manual to drop stage iii in it and some other stuff...

It'd be hard to do it for twice that.
