Default Trouble with my 00' S4 (CODES)

I've had a ABS light with blinking brake light and an AIRBAG light on for the past few months. These will be fixed soon as I figure what is wrong. The problem that occured yesterday was EPC and CEL lights. Got:

17579 P1171 Throttle Actuation Potentiometer Sign.2 Range/Performance

18014 P1606 Rough Road Spec Engine Torque ABS-ECU Electrical Malfunction

Do you think this is due to the ABS/BRAKE lights being on?

Thanks again, all help is greatly appreciated!

K, I figured that would be in the near future. Do you think that is the problem causeing the CEL codes and EPC light?

It will cause the ABS light and a blinking Brake light... not sure about the EPC light though.

Default Clear the ABS Controller's codes using a vag-com.

even if you clear the CEL, the code will still be present in the abs controller.
