I'm painting calipers and installing suspension to name a few of the things I need them for. Thanks for the help.

Sears hydraulic jack and jack stand package. It gets the job done for the typical home user.

Default Check the sunday newspaper for the sears ad, they always have one on sale.

There is a particular one that will fit lowered cars, not sure of the model number. They usually price a jack and 2 or 4 stands at $100 or less.

I got that one, haven't used it yet - but I think it will do the job.

Default Harbor Freight, it is $170. The cheapest decent jack you will find IMO. Jackstands from anywhere

will work.

Oak Harbor Freight has an aluminum one (75lb) that is just right. Priced at $179. I ditched my Sears unit.
