Default Whatever happened with the SPEC 2 clutch failures...

i did a search and there were over 1000 responses...just want to know if spec ever did anything about fixing them? Got one installed about 8 months ago and now it's failing. I've never tracked the car and have only done a handful of hard launches!!!

Default You should probably contact your vendor - I bet they'll know what's going on.

Hopefully you can get reimbursed for a new clutch.

Default SPEC didn't do a damn thing for me. Obviously a manufacturing defect as seen in my pic poster.

It ended up costing me about $1,000 in the end. Regardless of what they make for products now, I will never do business with them again due to indisputable unethical business practices.

Wait a sec; looking at that pic, did the pressure plate warp?

Default We've been trying to handle that for our customers with warranty claims

It does take some time though, I know all involved partied must be pretty frustrated at the whole ordeal.
Contact the place that you bought the clutch through and have them get a RMA from SPEC.

No, take a look at my other pix. You'll see they just ground off too much material.
