Is there any way to check to see if things got screwed up during my turbo install?

there were varius odds and ends that got left undone when I got my car back..like my oil temp gauge wasn't plugged in, etc.

Oh yea and also I'm throwing the 17863 code, but a few weeks ago I was throwing 17862

Whats the difference?
