Default XPOST - Please help! boost problems...

I've been praying to the greek god of boost (boosticus) all day! Nothing! Humor aside, I chipped a few weeks ago and had really "pulsy" boost. I then heard the humming, so I called up hoppen motorsports and ordered the MTM/Bosch valve for $46. I was putting it in last night, under the car and noticed that I had a split hose...soon I found that it ran from the BPV to the intake manifold. I went to pep boys and picked up a few feet of 5/32" vacuum hose (rubber) and some zip-tie style hose clamps. I hooked it up and it most definatly appears to be sealed, yet, sometimes I have FULL boost, sometimes I have pulsy boost and sometimes I have NO boost. All in a matter of minutes. Sometimes it just tottally goes into limp mode. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG?! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, my "Service inspection" indicator just popped on in the mileage screen. Is this indicator timed on miles/time or is it a sensor like the check engine light?

Thanks guys!

"Service Inspection" is activated after a set number of miles.
