For you to get close to hydro-lock you need to
To have 10% of 2.7Liter full of water.
For you to get 0.27lits of water into the engine you would have to suck up water trough the inlet pipes, the turbos and forced in to the engine.
That is a lot of water.
IMO you would be ok and don't need to worry about it so much.

some people need a starter kill attached to dummy lights
Similar to breathalyzers that disable the car if you've been drinking.. IF a dummy light comes on it locks the hood and disables the ignition.
