Default 20" RS4 Wheels for my S6 - Need help with offsets

I think I like the look of the RS4 wheel for my S6.

They are manufactured by Hartmann and VMR, but they each make them in different offsets. I need help, what do you guys think would look best? I want them to be as flush as possible with the wheel well without rubbing issues. Do you think they would look nice on an S6?

For starters I'm going to use my exisiting stock P Zeros (255 35 20). Eventually I'm going with Michelin Pilot Sports, but I might as well use up the crappy Pirellis.

HARTMANN:
HRS4-252-GS
20" x 9" ET40
20" x 9" ET25

or

VMR:
V708
20" x 9" ET35

In order, here are the Hartmanns, the VMRs, then a B8 A4 with the wheels.

I would think the 35 offset would be the best bet if you're doing 20x9 all around...

I like the VMR's better myself. And you should make sure using the 255's on that wheel isn't going to stretch the tires out too much.

Thanks.

According to the wheel offset calculator, the ET+35 9" wheel will push the outer rim to 16mm beyond stock. Is that too much or just right?

ET+40 9" will push the outer rim 11mm beyond stock.

According to tire rack the rim width range for the P Zero 255 35 20 is 8.5" - 10". 10" sound a bit big for that tire, but that's waht they claim.

For reference, click the link below in my sig to see photos of ET25 with 9" rims. This pushes the wheel out 26mm compared to stock. With a 265/35 tire (Michelin PSS), I've rubbed twice over the last 10k miles in the front on the same turn that has this big depression/dip. If I were to do it again I'd go with 20x9 ET32-33 if I could customize the offset.

Thanks Rob! That helped a lot actually. I think the ET+35 is a good compromise. If I wanted to get finicky and push it out a 2 or 3mm I can alway get some spacers. Thanks for pointing out the link. Your wheels look great.

20x9 ET 35 is just about damn near perfect for the S6 and will nicely fit a 265/35 tire. 255's will also be fine. My previous RS4 had 255's on 9" wheels as the stock set-up and it looked great.

where did it rub exactly? Any visible remnant of the rub?

I figure it's got to be the top of the right front fender, but I see no obvious evidence of tire contact.
