Reversing accident - 2.4K to fix?
I'm brand new to Audi as of a few months ago(BMW for 20+ years) and in sticker shock(2.4K) for a little accident my wife got into in our 2 month owned 2019 Audi Q7 while reversing out of a parking space. (sensor only beeped at the last second)
So the tail light reflector broke, the rear bumper slightly dislodged and 2 smallish scratches. BMW collision is quoting me 2..4K (they own the Audi dealership locally). They are saying the bumper MIGHT need to be replaced, the upper panel replaced and the tail light is one whole thing not just reflector so has to be replaced.
Does this sound right? Do those scratches really need to be repainted if the bumper does not need to be replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My insurance company is deciding the next steps but i'm $1000 deductible out already if its more than replacing the tail light and pushing the bumper back in.
Can those scratches/scuff marks not be buffed out. Sorry but Im not a car detailing guy.
parts, as one would imagine on a car at this level, are not inexpensive
