Default Would I still be able to ask for traffic school?

If I have to show up in court, can I see if the cop shows up before I make a plea? I've read that judges will ask for a plea before asking the officer to step forward or enter the court room.

Default I'm sure you could. This avenue isn't as obnoxious as some of the others

and won't **** off the magistrate. I'm sure you would have the same options after pursuing this rout as you would if you hadn't.

Good luck!

The cop already let you off easy - why push your luck? Online traffic school = 15 minutes.

Default do the traffic school option....

the only down side is burning 8 hours on a Saturday - but it stays off your record & your insurance remains low.

[curious - was it CHP or CMPD that got you?] and where about? i work right off Harbor Blvd off the 405 in CM.

if you're gonna fight - PREPARE, in case the cop shows up. and it could get expensive. (that's our legal system!). a few ideas for fighting here:

click to fight the system.........

Default It was CHP...

My V1 didn't even go off, I think she may have paced me trying to catch up to me. I was heading on 405N and we stopped around Harbor Blvd. This was the first time I've seen a CHP hide there and I was in a rush and in a bad mood so didn't even see her. I'm normally good at spotting them.. but anyways..

I've seen the ticketassassin website. My idea was to try to do a few paperwork defences and if that doesn't work out, then give up and just do the traffic school.
