AZ State and National Parks. Which ones are not to be missed?
I'm planning a little road trip in the near future and always enjoy exploring good State and National Parks. Are there any I shouldn't miss?

North Rim of the Grand Canyon is spectacular (much, MUCH better than the South Rim in every way -- I wouldn't even bother with the South Rim). I haven't been to Canyon de Chelly, but I've heard it's worth the trip. Sedona is beautiful (though touristy), and Jerome State Historic Park is interesting: http://azstateparks.com/Parks/parkhtml/jerome.html
Saguaro Nat'l Park in Tucson is rather small but also worth the trip. Picacho Peak State Park (north of Tucson) is quite nice, but I just read that it will be closed for several months starting July 1:

Would you consider expanding your trip to southern Utah? If so, Zion and Bryce are a MUST! Coral Pink Sand Dunes is pretty amazing, too. Actually, I much prefer the parks in Utah over Arizona. In fact, a really nice trip is the Zion, Bryce, North Rim (GC) loop. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the info. Here is where I went.
I did go through Sedona, but didn't really explore. Canyon de Chelly was on the list, but I'll just have to hit it and your other suggestions next time.

https://forums.audiworld.com/photo/msgs/38114.phtml</a
