Hi, I can't seem to get the phone to work with the bluetooth function in my A3.

Here's what I have tried:

-Turn on Bluetooth in V710, then select find me (the phone is discoverable for 60sec)
-Press mode on steering wheel, the trip computer scrren says "insrt phone"
-Few seconds later, the command says "phoe is not ready"

Am I doing something wrong here??
My phone is Motorola V710 from Telus Mobility in Vancouver, B.C.

The key is to use the phone to find the car, not the other way around as you are doing.

There should be a [Look For Devices] option in Handsfree section. That's what you should be using.

RTFM for the proper procedure.
