Austin suspension shops?
I was wondering if there are any good shops that can work on some suspension work here in town... i found a couple of good shops in Houston and checked here in town but they all want bout 5-600 to install my coilovers, adjust and do wheel alignment.. When i priced this in Htown it was going to cost like 300.00 from a good shop.. so i cant comprehend spending that much more here..

how do you like your combo?
I hear the Koni dampers are a bit on the soft side, but everyone's interpretation of suspensions is different.
What did you expect to get out of it and were your expectations met?
Thx

I like them...
...they're lower and a tad bit stiffer than my OEM sport suspension. Konis are adjustable, so I can always stiffen them up...the only problem is I'll basically have to have my suspension taken out to adjust.
If you're in Austin, I can take you for a ride.

Houston...
but i come to Austin periodically. probably not before buying something though.
my stock S4 suspension is shot. 72k miles of hard driving, the dampers are crap now. it doesn't recover from large upsets as quickly, and small stuff has become much more harsh lately.
i want something a little better, a little lower, but not uncomfortable or so low it's a hassle. I track my car probably 4-5 times a year and once you get used to feeling the initial lean, the stock suspension is very capable. I've already done the 19mm neuspeed rear bar, again nothing crazy, but better. i drove my friend's H-Sport front/rear kit with i think 35mm front/ 22mm rear and i LOVE it. Oh well.
