Default Yes...

We tried to make some changes and it didn't work. Some of the people involved are no longer involved. So while there have been changes, I still contend that nothing here today is substantially different than it was before.

Do you disagree?

Default Yes.

I disagree.

The sentiment and feeling that this forum had is gone. The trust was broken, repetidly, and that is something that isn't going to come back over night.

Default Changes were made

LarryTT no longer a moderator (as stated below a lot of the trouble begin the day he was made a moderator - my biggest mistake).

Dave has resigned as a moderator.

We have clarified the OT rules, making a few small changes, but acknowledging that this forum is relative self moderating.

When I say nothing has changed I mean that things should be as copacetic as they were weeks ago. Yes, there have been changes but the end result is largely the same.

Default I don't know what else to do then

What would you do in my shoes? How could I handle it better? Should I say I f*cked up? Should I unequivocally take all the blame no matter how I feel or what else has happened? Seriously? How do we transition from forum gone bad to forum repaired?

Default You are probably right.

It sounds like you made the changes necessary.

Default BTW, I edited my message

That you just responded to. You should re-read it because I'd seriously like to get your input given the fact that you are running the competitive forum.

I appreciate your willlingness to come back and talk about this. AW is still a great venue and hopefully will bounce back from the issues of the past weeks.
