Default Re: umm ...

"why waste all your time typing something up if you're not trying to get someone to see your perspective?"

It's called expressing one's views. Not evrybody has an agenda.

Default unclear on the point ...

why express your views if you don't want other people to be affected by them? if you do want people to be affected, then why not spend the time to phrase them in a way that makes folks want to agree with you?

like i said originally, i think you had a lot of good points -- it just seems a shame that the message got lost in the vitriol.

Default Very clear on your point. So I will address it again.

My goal is not get people to agree with me. I really can care less if they do or not. I addressed Jason because I felt I wanted to. I also felt others should be privy to that conversation since it involves them.

I really do not concern myself wondering if others agree with me. I agree with myself, that is mostly what matters to me. I have close friends and I respect their opinions, and if one of them told me I was off-base on an issue, I would reexamine it. Does not mean I would change my position if I really believed in it.

Instead of trying to find opinions you agree with or not, try to form your own and listen to the other ones.

This is the screwy stuff to me. If you're going to say this, why not use your normal Forum name?

Default lol...clever

I think you a pvssy that hides behind a fake name.

You can call me a *****, I have been called worse. Your feelings don't faze me one bit.

But at least be a man(or woman) about it and say it to "my face".

Default Probably because the poster doesn't want to be ostracized by other friends...

here on the forum - just like you have a reluctance to being a moderator.

I'm not "blueunderwear," but I wouldn't doubt that he/she represents the sentiments of a lot of people here.

BS is BS and a very negative force here.

Default Still think you can state an opinion. Just me. Guess I

usually say what is on my mind. Think it is less about being afraid of peers or peer pressure and more wanting to be perceived in their normal forum mode as a really good guy/gal that never causes a problem. Preserve their status so to speak.

The "probably lose all my friends" line was really used in humor. Would like to believe I could be fair and balanced, but we know you can never make all people happy all the time ;-D

Que sera.

Default That's nice to know.

So you support "Blueunderwear" sentiments that TT owners are gay?

Yeah, yeah I know, you meant his other comments. Still very nice of you to be very understanding of people that hide behind fake names and make comments like these.
