DV Failure or Paranoia?

DV Failure or Paranoia?
I have a new 225Q with barely 400 miles on the odometer, and I think I may have a problem with the DV. My symptom is a soft "honking" or hum in the lower gears between 2000 and 3500 rpm.
I don't think I have a problem with throttle response, anything more than I have attributed to tubo lag. (Since I have never owned a turbo...)
I also notice an almost constant low whooshing noise under acceleration. Again, this is a noise I just chalk up to the turbo spooling up air pressure. The sound it not noticeable unless you have the radio off and are really listening for it. Perhaps I've read so much about DV problems I am projecting them on to my own car.
I don't have a problem dropping in a Forge DV, but at this early stage in the cars life will it negatively impact my Audi warranty?
Should I replace the stock air filter at the same time or will this contribute to additional turbo spooling noise?
Everything else about the car is wonderful! Except the Texas TT drivers seem to be less inclined to congregate.....
