Default actually not a bad price>>>

Our (boyfriends nova) custom made spearco intercooler was 1400... and 1)we had to MAKE it fit... it wasnt pre-engineered and tested, 2)it didnt come with a set of really nice Samco hoses... we had to scour oil field suplly houses to find some rubber fittings

heres pics of his spearco (granted it is quite a large intercooler...)

So considering what you get, whats put into it, an where it comes from I consider it a deal!!

I'll buy one in a heartbeat (after I get the TT, rims, tires and exhaust that is )

speaking of exhaust... 1200 for a cat back? now THATS expensive!!! but who cares.. i'm gonna get one anyway

Default cool... one more question for both you and forge....

<img src="http://www.audi-tt.fsnet.co.uk/img36.gif">

That lower grill... its different from stock? More... open I guess. Is that a modified stock one? or does someone market it?

Or maybe it is stock and I just never noticed before LOL

It's stock, the intercooler lines behind it throw off your eye. Look closely.

Default I understand your point Jenner - but realistically is this gonna make that much of a difference

on the 225hp with the twin intercoolers? I'm sure it will make some - but it will make a greater difference on 180's with larger turbo upgrades, hence my earlier comment. Interestingly enough - APR's Stage III uses the factory intercooler. Only when you go to the Stage III+ with the larger turbo to they even recommend going to a larger intercooler. In my discussions with Stephen, he indicated that the larger turbo and inconel manifold result in low enough temps that a larger intercooler isn't needed.

I think alot of people like the FMIC for the "cool" factor of this big *** intercooler being visible from the front. Personally, if I'm going to be upgrading my turbo etc. I want a system that is integrated to work together - which is why i'm leaning towards the APR Stage III.

Default I'll only order this if you can find me a tasteful front bumper for this.

I think that the factory bumper will restrict airflow. Any ideas?

It doesn't matter much. The new HX will give you more surface area to dissipate heat.
