Is the hi-temp silicone sealent sold by Audi the same as non-OEM Hi-Temp Silicone sealent?

Is the hi-temp silicone sealent sold by Audi the same as non-OEM Hi-Temp Silicone sealent?
Wondering cause Hi-Temp Red RTV sold over at Autozone is far less money for the same amount of sealent ($32.00 from dealer, $6.00 from Autozone).
it is the gasket maker for an oil pan, want to get everything figured out before I jump into this project one of these days/weeks since my car has been sitting up on jack stands for like 3 weeks.
Just wondering if they are pretty much the same product?

That is why I was thinking about the cheap stuff, cause I need to do that to my MAP port on my FMIC
