I finally got the BAMM to work on my car, but I've got lots of boost and I mean LOTS!
Here's trhe story so far:
BAM + stock FPR + new Audi MAF = limp
BAM + 3.5bar FPR + new Audi MAF = limp
BAM + 4.0bar FPR + new Audi MAF = limp
After weeks of experimenting that kept resulting in limp modes, I decided to replace the new-shaped Audi MAF sensor (same as stock on my car) with the old rounded Audi MAF:
SAME STORY...
I was just about to throw everything in the recycle bin when I got my hands on the VW MAF some of you guys use, the one that's rounded like the one on older TTs but has what looks like a capacitor on one side.
Well, strangely enough, only one combination worked... So, after a small fortune spent in expensive European 100oct fuel, there you have it:
VW MAF + 3.5bar FPR + BAM = no more limp mode but lots of boost...
Changing from 4th @6200rpm to 5th the boost gauge jumps to 1.6 bars and up till 5500rpm it still registers 1.45 bars... Near the rev limiter I still have 1.2 bars in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, haven't had the guts to try the other three gears.
Anyway since I just can't be arsed about that as well I think I'll just enjoy the performance till something brakes or explodes.

Who cares...
Hahaha! That's very positive "Nick"! I need another ride with your car next time we meet I'm glad it worked eventually. Have you ever thought that you could be ,in some sort, related to "Kyros Granazis"? LOL!
Oh, BTW, I got a letter from the post office about a package having arrived for me. Wonder what it could be out of all that I'm expecting I'm gonna go and pick it up tomorrow and let you know.

LOL......You've got another week and a half..>>
TTDA will probably go out Wednesday!
Nick....A Boost Machine may help you. One of the best benefits of it is it reduces spiking. Spikes over the ECU's interest in maintaining boost is often what throws cars into limp as they momentarily overboost before the N75 can get control again. Check pics 4 and 5 in this album and you'll see a graphic example of how it works.......

Boost Machine album..
