Do you have the clutch engaged fully?

Default You can try to readjust the shifter linkage...

Follow the instructions on the dieselgeek web page and see if that makes a difference.

http://www.dieselgeek.com/ATTQoriginstall.htm</a

Default solution for me via AudTT.org FAQ....

i actually followed the directions in the FAQ and it worked!!

something about configuring the shifter or something like that.

all i did was put the shifter into 2nd gear (while parked of course) and PUSH the shifter towards myself, and applied pressure for a few seconds. on the FAQ it says that a spring should pop back in about half an inch, helping the "rough shifting" problem and IT DID!!!

try it out..

Default yes, engage the clutch and.....

shift the gear into 2nd. now while the gear is in 2nd, pull the shifter towards you and against the wall of the groove (nearest to you).

hold the shifter against the left part of the groove and hold it there firmly for about 2 or 3 seconds with some pressure.

then engage the clutch and shift back into 1st.

note that don't do this while you are driving, do it while you are stopped or even with the car off.

i dunno if it will work for you, but it worked for me and made my shifter smooth.
