Well, I've been trying to decide which chip to go with and I finally decided on the APR. Steve's European Automotive did the work and I must say, they are a top notch company.

What a difference!!! I love it. For $653, it's the best bang for the buck! The car was fun to drive already but now...well I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about. And for those who haven't chiped their's...do it as soon as you can.

i must chip soon. i can't decide on who. i'm leaning towards APR. i like the cruise stalk program change and the v-tune.

I was torn between the GIAC and the APR.

I don't have a GIAC dealer near me, and there is a APR dealer...so that's one reason. I like having a place that can service the product.

The other is the GIAC chip is a more agressive program. My car is a daily driver and didn't want to put added stress on the engine. I was told and from what I've read the GIAC is used by weekend racers and those who really want to tune their car. I just don't have time to have my car layed up in the shop for something to be rebuilt.

So that was my view and I'm sure others will have diff points. But so far so good with the APR.

...and that's why i'm leaning towards that company. i also want a relatively mild program as well.

The APR chip is a little monster. It will improve your gas mileage and give you a great improvement in that rush you get at 3K RPMs. I know very little about the Giac but APR products have had overwhelmingly good reviews here and elsewhere.
