His original ECU was APR... thats why he needs a new one

So I dont' think he is interested in going that route again.

I'm a REVO dealer so I can get him immo defeat also, but I think he wants to go GIAC since his other car has it and he likes it.

That seems like the coding structure for the instrument cluster not for the ECM...

I spoke with my friend who works at the dealer and says they can manually do the immo code through geko.. IN the past it was all manually done mostly by the adisors not the techs. Now only the techs can do it. So I'll just get the proper coding from him for the ECM when I get the immo code.
