Default Samco inlet hose trouble! A brake line as almost torn through the tube!

First question is how do you guys reccommend to fix it for a couple months so it doesnt get worse, I am replaceing it eventually. Also, why did this happen? My fault? Samcos? Car God?

Looks like that metal tube melted the Samco. Is it an oil line for turbo?

wrap the hose in heatreflecting tape for until you can get it changed
