Uh anyone here bought an unkut key NOT from the dealer and had the dealer kut it?

Default Uh anyone here bought an unkut key NOT from the dealer and had the dealer kut it?
They want to charge me like $300 for a new key.

but it was only $60

Yes, I bought a cut one off ebay, slipped off the switchblade end, gave to my dealer, and they sent it out to be cut to my code..

Did it with my VW. $45 to cut and program a key I supplied. Audi should be the same just higher $/hr
