Default Window Problem -- need advice

When I entered my car today, the driver's window rolled down about an inch on its own. Then it would not roll up.

Opened / closed the door, cycled the window down and up but it still wouldn't close all the way. So it's stuck down about an inch from closing. Tried closing using the key in the door -- still no dice.

Experts -- your advice please.

Thanks!

Default Re: Window Problem -- need advice

I've had that happen to me many times and the only way I got it to go up was to disconnect the battery both Pos and Neg. I tried just the Pos side and it didn't reset, not sure if I didn't leave it off long enough though I thought it was plenty of time. I would leave it off for 3-5 minutes and be sure you have your radio code just in case. I didn't need to reset my radio but better safe than sorry.

Default Hold button to roll window down, continue holding for a second, then hold button to roll window up.

That sometimes resets it.
