Default Audi TT Mk2 8J car jack

Hi there
Can anyone advice me in purchasing a car jack for my 2011 TT. I have just discovered that it does not come with one!
Thanks

I assume you want a jack for the garage since you don't have a spare tire. Hydraulic jacks are inexpensive now at Harbor freight, Pep Boys, etc.
If you plan to get a spare (look at the thread below) you can buy an Audi single side scissors jack (aka "the widow maker") or go to Harbor Freight etc for a less expensive real scissors jack.

I'm using a Pittsburgh 2-ton low profile jack (Harbor Freight). The jacks will show their min and max heights so get what works for you. I use MSS lower springs and this jack is good.

I also picked up short 2-ton jack stands from Duralast (Auto Zone). I believe they're 8 inches instead of the standard 10 or 12. My standard jacks were too tall when lifting one corner at a time on this low profile car.

I also use the 2 piece low profile Race Ramps. These are not cheap. But they work great. They're also very light and I stack them on a wall hanger to get them out of the way. Find your best price online for these.
