Default Opinions on Pirelli P7000ss

Looking for a performance tire to replace my OEM dunlops. What are your thoughts on the P7000ss. Performance? wear? noise?
Thanks

Default These are 2 different type of tires...

The P7000SS is an all-season tire, the SP8000E OEM with Sports package is a pure summer tire, not meant for snow.

If you want another performer like the SP8000E, then get another summer tire (by the way, I have some that are 2600 miles old for sale).

If you want an all season tire then the P7000SS might be a good choice.

If you want something for the snow then I would suggest getting snow tires ( I got Michelin Pilot-Alpins for the Colorado Winters).

All Seasons do some things OK, but not one thing well. When the tire wears down, they are no good in the snow and only good in summer, and then they are not that great.

So my plans are getting another set of summer tires and rims. I had snows mounted on my OEM 7-spokes. If you are in a warm climate, MO would be to just get some good High or Ultra Performance tires, like another set of SP8000's or SP8000E's or some Brigestone S-02 PP's.

Just my $.02
