Hi all. I have 2011 Q5 hybrid. Yesterday, when I turned it on, I got an error come up saying Hybrid System Fault. Contact workshop. Also showed a small yellow car icon (with an exclamation point in it) above the error message. Also, the engine seems to not turn off and is charging the battery non-stop. The owners manual says to immediately drive to the Audi dealer and have this taken care of. Does anyone know what the error may mean and how serious it could be? The workshop can look at it 5 days from now. Does anyone know if i can drive like this safely, without damaging anything? Would appreciate any information I could get on the topic or advice on where I could find out more about it. Thanks.

Yellow lights are usually warnings, and the car may be in a limp mode, while red lights mean stop and park it immediately, your screwed.

However, if you have any other options, I wouldn't take the chance.
