Default 17's or 18's feedback

I know most of you all like to go large diameter road wheels but here in VT where the main roads are like secondary roads where you are(or worse), I am reluctant to go large dia. wheel. I found a nice set of MOMO Q2 on sale available in 17" and am a sucker for a good deal. My car now is running stock non-sport suspension (best for snowy roads) with the factory 16's and Wintersport M3's. This spring I would like to mod with new wheels and a sport suspension. Any of you running aftermarket 17's that have a pic I could see? I know 18's or 19's look better, but I do have other factors to deal with including ride quality. Or am I underestimating ride quality and durability of 18 or 19 inch wheels? TIA

Default i plan to purchase oz superturismos in 17's sometime this summer

let me say i run 19's and handeling has increased a great deal but comfort level was deminished. it isnt so much the suspension but mostly due to tire sidewall. if i were you id go with 18's i mean considering bimemrs and audis come with 18's stock i would feel confident that it would be ok

Default B6 Wheel Gallery - Version 2 (see link in my sig in RED)

If you have sucky roads like we do in Michigan, then stick with 17's, you'll be happy you did. If your goal is function over form then stick with 17's or smaller. If you are going for a better appearance for your vehicle, then 18's are the way to go. 19's look great if you have a lowered suspension setup or the stock sport suspension but aren't practical in rough road areas.

Default why are you looking to get 17's and not 18's?

i can see if u were going to get a nice set of track wheels i would deff go with a wide *** 17 but u can go 18 for all around.
