Airbag & check engine light turned on...help!
Took an A4 for a test drive and the airbag ligth turned on...did my homework & both dealer & gov. do not show the vehicule as being in an accident serious enough for airbags to deploy. Apparently after powercleaning the engine, the sensor for the airbag light was affected...is that remotely possible???

The Airbag lights have been known to come on due to bad contacts on the drivers seat
I think a diagnostic can tell you if its the drivers seat bag that caused the light.
I think the dealers story may be false but is doesn't mean the car has been crashed.
