I am thinking about putting a carputer into my car. One major concern i have is how long does it take for the music to actually start playing once you get into your car, does the carputer take a min or 2 to load up? and also what is the biggest screen someone has put in place of the symphony stereo?

if you have the PC hibernate, then it shouldn't be more than 10-15 secs

Get one with bluetooth and airport and you'd just need a screen, and a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Might have to consider that myself.
