How is VIN tag attached to the Dash?....

In comming weeks I will be replacing the dash on my 04A4 due to airbag deployment and was wondering if the vin tag was glued to the dash and how easy is to swap out.

Any ideas? I could not find anything in the bentley. Thanks

I have not looked but is probable riveted to the sheet metal and not the vinyl dash.

I am the body shop :) Is it rivited to the vinyl dash or some sheet metal?

one cannot tell by just looking at the windshield. Thanks
