Default Maintance question

How often should the brake and manual tranmission fluid be change? I'm almost to 30,000 miles. Does Audi cover this under its service plan?? Is there anything else that needs to be change, replaced or check?? Thanks for the feedback.

Default I'd change the brake fluid once a year, but you can wait as much as two years...

if you want. I recommend every year because the clutch and brakes share the same resevoir and you really cant be to careful keeping the fluid fresh. The manual transmission fluid can go for a long, long time. Id change it every 60K miles or so with the timing belt as a reminder. Cheers! Mike

Default I got my first brake fluid change at 40k by the dealer....part of the maintenance program.

I just think they forgot at the 20k service. It made a world of difference. Felt like I had new pads all around, even though I didn't have new pads.
