Observation
Been on the forum for about a week now and I have noticed that the 1.8T seems to be the most popular A4 on the B6 platform on this forum.
Find it interesting as a South African.

Also of note: This forum is largely North American
In NA, the only two options for B6 A4's are the 1.8T and the 3.0. Unfortunately (and much to my chagrin)there are no diesels.

problem with diesel in NA is that those damd trucker unions wont allow high quality diesel here cuz
because of price. Truckers want CHEAP dirty diesel here to transport goods around the country but in europe they have higher quality diesel which is really clean and great. Thats why diesel doesnt sell well in NA people here dont know what good diesel is all about and they only envision smokey fumes coming out the back when they think diesel.
and yes I think in NA we will see hybrid cars and fuel cells before we see more diesel.. but that may be a good thing also.
