Default Questions about New Widescreen NAV PLUS on EBAY

Does anyone have insight on compatability with this unit? Are there functional North American DVDs available? I really like the unit but I don't want to spend all that money and end up with a worthless pile of scrap. Thanks all!!!

Widescre en NAVPLUS on Ebay

Default I saw a rightup on it somewhere along time ago, but recently AoA cracked down..

on the FAQ from tvwiz. Why is Audi upset about this..? If anything they should be including this in all new Audis.

Default No maps yet

The maps from Navteq don't work yet in the Euro RNS-E (which is the new DVD Navigation Plus). Check here for more: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/AudiNav

That particular one is very expensive. They normally go for between US$1500 and US$1800 - check the completed sales.

If your going to do it, wait for the US version so you won't loose your Sat radio.

Default yeah, I think you want the E version, not the C for the US. Supposedly the US maps wont work ...

unless you have the E version. Although you might be able to use vag to change that.
