It's not my mat!

My floor mat doesn't even come close to my accelerator pedal. I made sure of that because my pedal almost got stuck in my previous Audi.

My break didn't stop the acceleration...

The car slowed down cause the breaks were holding it back but the engine kept screaming.

Judging by someone who just posted today with it on a 3.0 loaner, I bet it's the pedal. (more)
