I'm about to start conducting reliability research that will provide much more useful information. Instead of relative ratings, my research will provide "days in the shop" and "times in the shop" stats that can be precisely compared from vehicle to vehicle.

I spoke with Jason months back about this research, and he was very supportive.

I'm making this post now because the first round of the research will begin in early November. I'd like to include the A4, but don't have nearly enough signed up at this point. For my initial sample I'm relying heavily on forums like this one, and this will be clear when I provide the results.

Only participants in the research will have free access to the information once it is available.
