soft top issue
Hello,
I am having a problem with my A4 B6 2002 cabrio. I have checked other threads, but I can't find something similar.
When I open the roof everything goes well till the stowing lid open completly. When the system has to start stowing the top, it gets stuck. If I look at the blocks I get (00100110 100101) and the position sensor is at 59. I have checked it and these values seem to be ok. Then if I push the rear part of the top a little bit, the operation continues and everything goes well.
If I try to close the top, the system gets stuck again in the same position. In this case at the blocks I get (00100110 101010) and the position sensor is at 59.
It looks like if the cylinder has no force to move from that particulat position of the top (rear part perpendicular to its resting position). It tries, but it doesn't move, then I push a little bit and it finishes the operation. I don't know if it can be a mechanism dead point or electric motor failure or something like that.
has anybody any lead to keep working on?
Thanks in advance.
