Xpel Ultimate is a unique, high end film and is more expensive than others by Xpel or other brands. Can't tell you about the hood only but my full front with hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors, headlights and rocker panels ran about $1600. The guys who did it are experts and do not use precut kits - everything is custom cut and all edges are rolled on the hood and fenders for no visible seams. The hood is the most expensive as it requires a single piece off a very costly, large roll (you don't want a seam there).

Xpel films don't yellow and the Ultimate is their best - it has an industry leading 7 year warranty including the install. That said, it can be removed easily and the adhesive comes right off with no ill effects to the paint. Because the Ultimate has it's own clearcoat, it can be waxed like any other part of the car (no abrasive polish but it's not ever needed).

Thanks. That's alot of coverage and peace of mind for the $$. Besides the seam in the hood, I would want full coverage to avoid removing it in 7 years to discover you now have a two-tone hood.
