Black isn't any cleaner, it just looks cleaner. I am fortunate enough to not have super bad weather, dogs, kids or woman that get make-up all over the car so I get more of a choice than others who have to accommodate the conditions but I prefer the lighter colors although the nougat with black carpets and a lighter headliner is a great compromise.

That's for sure with the A8L - I love the black interior and headliner on my A6 - it doesn't feel any smaller to me than a grey interior A6 I was in as a front seat passenger this weekend.
