my cars making grinding noise that is only heard on the the 1st start at 24mph. if the engine is cold its there.. if its hot its still there. so temp makes no diff. it makes this sound only once per ignition at 24mph. after the 1st time its made this noise it will not make it until another ignition. it sounds like a blade hitting a wall or like a secondary air pump drill but its only present at 24mph no matter what gear. gets louder as more throttle is applied.

i have googled this but haven't come close to finding the answer this thread was the only one close enough to describe what noise im getting. i was thinking it is probably a torn TBB or diverter valve but i examined the TBB closely and havent found a tear.
