I stopped into a tire dealer today as they had Conti on their sign and checked out the floor samples. The contiextremes said "made in usa" ... although it was in a little blank block, as if the tire may be made in several countries and they change out the stamp in the mould accordingly.

I found the sidewalls flimsy and the "tread pattern" in the sidewall pretty gaudy, IMHO, but looks don't count until they're on the car, right?

I dunno, my SP9000's are driving nice, loud and obnoxious, but like riding on rails. I gotta do somthing soon as first snow about a month away.

Let us know how they work out.
