Audi A6 shaking problem
I am looking into buying an audi A6 it is a 2006 3.2l quatro model. It shakes at idle and i noticed it was having troubles getting up past 45mph. We took it to autozone and they said the codes were air/fuel ratio, had about 4 misfires, was running lean and there was an airbag light. I can reset the light, but what do you think the other stuff is? I have never owned an audi, but i have owned a vw's and it seems almost exactly like when the pcv valves went out, then shortly after the turbos would go out in these.(but this obviously has no turbo)
Autozone said it would need new spark plugs, something for the air/fuel, then they said if that didnt work to get new coils, if that didnt work go to wires, etc. Is there a likely problem for this? i saw there was recalls for coil packs, i am not sure if that is the same. This started right up and strong, but moments after shook. He said it just came on so i said i would test drive it, when i found out it wouldnt go over 45 is when we took it to get it scanned. He is not asking a lot so getting it worked on might be an option, i am just wondering costs. Thanks

There is a recall on the coils. Take the vin number and call an audi dealer. They will tell you if it as been done or not. For your mix fuel/air ratio, it could be many things. Best way to find a solution is to get the car scan with a vag-com made by roos-tech. You will know where your problem is coming from. If you diy it is one of your best tool to own if you plan to keep the car for a long run... It will pay for it self only after one rear brake job.
