Default Engine Coolant crossover Pipe

Hi, please help!

I busted the plastic nipple for coolant return hose on Engine Coolant Crossover Pipe (part #06E121045E).
Has anyone replaced this pipe before? is there a write up to share?

Thanks a lot!

Not sure about a write-up but it should be pretty straightforward...which part on the diagram here is it?

thanks for the reply. it is a 2008 Audi A6 C6. not like the diagram you sent.

but if you google "06E121045E", you will see what it looks like. It is connect to upper radiator hose on one end.

thanks again

The diagram I posted is for the C6 4.2 engine. What engine is yours?

THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!! Exactly what I am looking for.

One last question: Do I need to put the car in Service Position for this job? It seems very tight space.

I would advise you do so, since I can't really imagine you being able to do the job without. Also, while you're at it you might want to check your serpentine belt and idlers for replacement.
