Audi A7 is Reliable?

I just bought an A6 and decided it would be interesting to look at common parts prices. I looked at the RockAuto site, because it's easy and they're cheap, and noticed that the headlights are very expensive for these cars. Most other common parts aren't too bad. I was surprised at how reasonable brake rotors are. (Mine look bad, so I was curious about what they cost. OEM seem to get grooved easily)
I got a CPO with a 5-year unlimited mile warranty, so not too worried about major expenses. But, if a rock hits a headlight I guess I'll get hit by sticker shock.

I never buy into the reliability surveys, but that could be because I don't know whats happening behind the scenes and because when I think about reliability I think of the long-term, not really the first couple of years, and while companies like Consumer Reports will put Audi, BMW and others above Toyota, lets face it, as much as any of us would hate to drive a Toyota, they have been making amazingly reliable cars that lasts for miles without many faults. Thats not to say an Audi or BMW can't do that, but I will say the decisions to use more technology and plastic parts really does hurt, in the long term, as they start to crack and break, and while the part may be cheap the labor is through the roof (if you don't do your own work), a great example would be the plastic/electric water pumps which in BMWs at least, are known to go much earlier than a typical water pump, what was wrong with a normal water pump that doesn't need replacing under 100k miles? We're in a different age, where our cars are literally technology on wheels. I would say Audis and other German cars are reliable, but I would want to own one pass 10 years tops, and I would never say its more reliable than a Toyota or Lexus, and of course, your milage may vary, you get lucky or you don't.

I bought my 2012 5 years ago with 40k. It now has 91k. I have done pads, rotors, spark plugs, battery, tires and alignment. Besides oil changes, that is it. It has been 100% problem free (knock on wood) besides a fuel line recall. I have a lifetime bumper to bumper warranty and basically never plan to get rid of the car.

The warranty is through Wells Fargo Warranty Solutions. I paid only about $2,300. It was supposedly an exclusive deal with the dealer I bought the car from. Unlimited miles, unlimited years as long as I own the car. $100 deductible.

It's been so long since I purchased the warranty but basically normal maintenance items are not included; like battery, brake pads, spark plugs and stuff like that. All electronics and powertrain is included.
