1997 was rebuilt at 80,000 miles, filter and fluid changed twice I now have 85,000 miles and it needs another rebuild. I will rebuild it myself. I do not recommend the rebuild shop in Georgia. Car has never run right since they worked on the tranny. I really liked what Tozo did with his car converting into a manual.I've recoded several times and the only way I can drive it is to make sure my laptop with the VAGCOM goes with me.

Someone did recommend that place. What was their name?

Someone said they know everything about ZF tranny and they deal with Audi and BMW.

I'm now of the opinion that you should either change fluid every 25,000 or 30,000 miles, or run it until it dies.

Also, there is no doubt to me that Lubegard Red extended the usable life of my trans.
