Yes there is an O-ring on the ferrule. It's also possible the tubing could be damaged and needs to be cut back slightly.

Thanks tjf for that info.

Did another leak check on those area for both sides but couldn't find any leak. If the right strut is leaking, would it also bring down the left strut? Cause the right side dropped more than the left side. Should i just change the right strut only? Has anyone tried dipping the strut in a bucket of water to check for leak?

Need some clarification on the control valve. It job is to prevent air from being released after the car is parked right? based on past recommendations the control valve hardly fails.

Park it, put it in jack mode. Put masking tape on both sides, taughtly between the fender and the wheel. Look at it again in an hour, maybe a half hour. You should be able to see which side is bleeding down. That one is the most likely culprit. Did you spray soapy water on the top too?

No, it's job is to send and release air to and from each of the four corners as needed at all times, NOT just when parked.

TJF, i did the soapy leak test on the tube and brass connectors. no sign of leak. left it in jack mode overnight, right strut went very low.
are you suggesting to do the soapy test from top at the engine bay? (pic below)

Giovanni, so if the air suspension control block fails then it can also release air from the front struts? any tell tale signs of its failure?
if i remove the electrical connectors to the control block when car is in normal height & engine off, the air should still maintain in the system? i'm trying to isolate 1 component at a time if possible.

bought this car sept last year, the dealer replaced a new pair of front suspensions (ATE) ard the same time. i remember that i had 2 error code since day 1 i had this car, 01577 Turn-off due to over temp & 01772 signal from level control pressure sensor. the 01583 leak in system detected only came up early this month.

You need to spray all over that strut, including the top. You will have to move the 2 rubber dust caps under the hood to get to the top.

Take it back to the dealer. There is a one year warranty on parts so if the right strut has gone bad, the dealer should change it for free.

Buy stock shocks as I did. The good and "cheapest" choice :

Just the packaging shows that you are getting a premium product. Seven ply plywood....

Right. And four of them cost more than your car. 😎
